Everton may have to scramble for a new number one goalkeeper to replace Jordan Pickford in the upcoming transfer window.

The England international has been a key player for The Toffees for almost a decade now and it feels odd to think about them without the shot-stopper.

With the 32-year-old off to the 2026 World Cup, eyes will surely be on his performances in Canada, Mexico and the USA, which could potentially prompt top teams from around Europe to make a move.

Juventus are reportedly weighing up Pickford's signing in the summer and the Hill Dickinson Stadium management could possibly have a major problem on their hands.

There's no doubt about the Englishman's commitment to the Merseyside outfit, having recently extended his contract until 2029, but he isn't getting any younger and when a team like the Bianconeri come knocking, it would arguably be hard for any player not to think about it.

Everton must prepare for Jordan Pickford offer

Pickford has emerged as a target for Juventus, as the Italian club look to bolster their goalkeeping department in the summer.

For the majority of the 2025-26 campaign, Michele Di Gregorio was Luciano Spalletti's number one, but some high-profile errors cost him his place in the starting lineup at times.

According to Tutto Juve on 8 June, the Bianconeri are now monitoring the Toffees' shot-stopper as a potential candidate to reinforce their squad.

It has been claimed that the Englishman is one of the profiles on Juventus' wishlist, but it remains to be seen whether the Merseyside outfit will make it financially feasible to sanction his exit.

David Moyes may walk away from Hill Dickinson Stadium

Sources told Football Insider back in April that Everton had plans to extend Moyes' contract once the season ended.

It looks like The Friedkin Group are happy to continue their project under the Scottish manager, but he may have other ideas if the American owners fail to back him in the transfer window.

The Friedkins arguably let the 63-year-old head coach down in the 2025-26 campaign by failing to add depth to the team when it was clearly needed.

If TFG allow a big player like Pickford to leave in the coming weeks, it certainly wouldn't please Moyes, but only time will tell whether the English goalkeeper will be presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to move to Juventus.
