Liam Rosenior’s comments on Guela Doue will be music to ears of Everton boss David Moyes
Everton manager David Moyes will have taken a keen interest to what Liam Rosenior has said about Guela Doue.
Doue, as per The Athletic, remains a target for Everton this summer after Moyes had the defender high on his transfer list in January.
Primarily a right-back with his current club Strasbourg, Doue has shown flexibility to also play in the centre of defence or in midfield.
Signing a right-back is seen as a priority for Everton this summer, and the club have already allowed Seamus Coleman to depart after 17 years on Merseyside.
Jake O'Brien often filled in at right-back this season, with Nathan Patterson's time at Everton having been disrupted by injuries.
Patterson could be sold by Moyes this summer, and he is set to be backed by the ownership to sign his replacement.
What has Liam Rosenior said about Guela Doue?
Doue has spent the past two seasons at Strasbourg, mainly playing under Liam Rosenior
Rosenior left the Ligue 1 club in January to move to Chelsea, which ended in the sack in April, and the 41-year-old was complementary of Doue during his time in France.
As per GFFN, Doue was called a "natural leader" by Rosenior, who added: "He encourages the other players a lot and with this mentality, he can go very far."
At 23 years old, leadership and a strong mentality are characteristics that are bound to impress Moyes.

Are Everton closer to agreeing a deal with Ben White?
Arsenal right-back Ben White has also been heavily linked with a move to Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
The 28-year-old has not been a guaranteed starter at Arsenal over the past year, and he could be available as the Gunners look to keep in line with financial rules.
White could be tempted to move into the vacant right-back spot at Everton, but so far no deal is closer to being completed.
Everton's only piece of business so far this summer has been to tie down left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko to a new three-year contract.
