Man City staff 'sorted out' issues between Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland
Jack Grealish was a big help for Erling Haaland as he attempted to settle during his first years at Manchester City.
That is according to former Everton, Tottenham and Aston Villa scout, Bryan King, speaking exclusively to Football Insider.
The Norwegian arrived at the Etihad Stadium a year after the Englishman, with the pair seemingly striking up a strong bond.
Grealish has returned to Man City following his loan move to Everton, but is expected to leave the club permanently before the window shuts.
The winger looked a player reborn at Hill Dickinson Stadium at the start of last season, yet his future remains unclear going into the final weeks of the window.
Enzo Maresca's arrival could even see Grealish stay put for the final year of his contract at Man City, reuniting him with Haaland.

Grealish and Haaland shared the pitch for 84 matches during their time together at Man City.
While that produced just six joint goal contributions, the two clearly enjoyed being on the pitch together, with the 2022-23 season a particular highlight.
That season stands out as undoubtedly Grealish's best in a Man City shirt, with the winger netting five goals and assisting 11 across all competitions as his side won the treble.
It was not a bad first campaign in England for Haaland, too, who scored a staggering 52 goals in 53 games.
"They had a couple of very good seasons out of him, that's for sure. He combined well with everybody," King told Football Insider when asked about Grealish.
"He was a great foil for Haaland. He seemed to help Haaland when he settled in, some good and some bad, I think, but Haaland and him seemed to become friends.
"I think he helped Haaland quite a bit. They seemed to have good fun when they were on the pitch, didn't they? I heard they had a bit of fun off it, but there again, I think things were sorted out on that front."
What Grealish has said about Haaland
Haaland and Grealish's friendship is well documented, and the pair have even interacted over social media since the latter's exit.
"He’s unbelievable, he’s there every time the ball is in the box. I can’t speak highly enough of him," Grealish said of Haaland in 2024.
"I get on really well with him, he’s a brilliant guy, so good to have around the place. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone have his work ethic.
"The things he does on a day-to-day basis whether it’s to help his sleep or his recovery. I’ve never seen anything like it. To me it shows why he’s so successful.”
