Everton fans are desperate to see Tyler Dibling given more game time after he was only handed a late cameo by David Moyes in their 2-0 win against Burnley.

Everton bolstered their European qualification prospects with a 2-0 win over struggling Burnley at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday night.

James Tarkowski headed the Toffees into the lead against his old club in the 32nd minute, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall notched their second on the hour mark to make sure of the three points.

David Moyes' side now sit eighth in the Premier League, five points from fifth-placed rivals Liverpool, having lost just two of their last nine league games.

Everton's next match comes against league leaders Arsenal this weekend, and their fans want to see Dibling given a bigger opportunity as he struggles for minutes this season.

Everton fans slate David Moyes for Tyler Dibling treatment - 'Hard to understand'

Dibling joined Everton for a club-record £42million fee from Southampton last August, but has not had the desired impact on Merseyside so far.

The 20-year-old has been unable to contribute to a goal in his 17 appearances for the club up to now, while he has started just four times and played for 350 minutes in the Premier League.

He stepped off the bench for the first time since 31 January against Burnley, but only featured for the final six minutes as a replacement for Iliman Ndiaye.

Everton supporters have grown frustrated of Moyes' treatment of Dibling, with many believing that he must give the young winger more chances to prove himself.

Taking to X, one fan said: "Really hate moaning when we're winning, but if you can't give Dibling minutes when we're 2-0 up against Burnley... Some will say 'we don't know what happens in training'... but I really don't like how he's being handled."

Another said: "I find it infuriating from Moyes. For the good of the club he should be giving the younger players more minutes and getting them ready for the future."

While one supporter added: "Dibling definitely isn’t the problem. Maybe he isn’t helping himself, but there’s no reason for Moyes not to throw him on for the last 20 minutes when the game was already won. He’s a very talented youngster who isn’t even getting a chance. Terrible player management by Moyes."

Dibling could quit Everton this summer amid lack of game time

Dibling was a standout for Southampton in the Premier League last season, but may feel as if he made the wrong choice in joining Everton and playing under a manager like Moyes, who prefers to trust more experienced and proven stars.

He has only made four league appearances since the turn of the year, and sources have told Football Insider that Dibling could leave Everton this summer if he continues to fail to make an impact.

Another key factor in his decision could be whether the Toffees decide to activate the buy option in Tyrique George's loan deal from Chelsea.

The Blues loanee can play across the forward line, but is also yet to star for Everton, with no goals or assists in his first four appearances so far.
