Tyler Dibling delivered one of his best performances in an Everton shirt to date on Wednesday as he played a starring role in their 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup third round.

The 20-year-old winger picked up an assist during the tie to help ensure that the Toffees progressed into the fourth round.

On top of this, the youngster had an overall superb game and was one of the key reasons why the club progressed into the next round.

Dibling is yet to play in a single Premier League match this season, with David Moyes instead keeping him on the bench as an unused substitute.

Wolves are no pushovers either, despite their Championship status, and could easily be a Premier League team next season.

As a result, Dibling’s performance deserves a lot of credit, and he now has to be one of the first names on the team sheet for the Toffees’ upcoming home clash against Ipswich.
