New Jack Grealish to Everton update drops
Everton are keen on thrashing out a move for Jack Grealish in the coming weeks as talks accelerate with Man City, sources have told Football Insider.
Grealish's future at Man City is up in the air after he returned to the club following the conclusion of his Everton loan spell.
The 30-year-old was a key man for the Toffees in the first half of the season before a serious foot injury curtailed his campaign in January.
New City manager Enzo Maresca is set to assess him in pre-season once he is fully fit, but David Moyes remains keen to reunite this summer.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, Everton want to ramp up talks with City over another move for Grealish so they can sign him before more competition arises.
He is prioritising a move back to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with a Citizens revival unlikely as they enter a new era under Maresca.

Grealish won the Premier League's Player of the Month award for last August and registered eight goal contributions in 22 games for the Toffees.
His lofty wage demands and City's potential price tag are set to stand in the way of a permanent switch, with Everton after another loan move before his contract expires in June 2027.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "He's always been a player that David Moyes would like to keep, whether on another loan or a permanent basis. Talks have been ongoing between Everton and Manchester City right now, but obviously Grealish has been focusing on regaining his full fitness, he hasn't travelled with City on their pre-season tour."

Everton's slow window so far has only seen Hayden Hackney arrive as a new signing, with Merlin Rohl and Tyrique George both joining permanently after respective loan moves.
They are in the market for a right-back, but are also keen to bolster Moyes' options in the final third after struggling to score consistently last season.
Sources have revealed to Football Insider that Moyes admires Newcastle winger Murphy and could move to sign him in the next month.
His future on Tyneside looks to be in more doubt after Eddie Howe's departure, after he registered nine goal contributions in 46 appearances last season.
