Sources: Everton's stance on Iliman Ndiaye exit revealed, new talks update
Everton are not concerned about Iliman Ndiaye's future despite talks over a new contract stalling with the Senegal international.
Ndiaye was one of Everton's best players throughout last season as they pushed for European qualification.
He was unable to fire the Toffees to Europe, but has attracted interest from several top clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
Everton are keen to tie Ndiaye down to a new deal to ward off potential suitors, but he is yet to pen fresh terms as talks stall.
Despite his reluctance, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, Everton remain confident of agreeing a deal and will only sell him for a huge fee this summer regardless.
Ndiaye is set to star at the World Cup with Senegal this summer, with their first match in Group I taking place against France next Tuesday.
He could attract more interest if he shines in North America, which would put the Toffees in an even stronger position, as he still has three years left on his current contract.
Everton undeterred by Iliman Ndiaye contract uncertainty as admirers circle
Ndiaye registered six goals and three assists in 34 appearances throughout 2025-26, with the Toffees keen to keep hold of him in another push for Europe next season
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "It's an ongoing situation. Obviously, Everton are doing their utmost to try and keep Ndiaye and tie him down to a new contract.
"There's no massive panic at Everton. They're quite relaxed about the situation because he is under contract until 2029, so it would take a huge fee for them to even consider selling him.
"With these contract talks yet to bear fruit, it has alerted a number of clubs, and he is not short of admirers after having a good season. If he has a good World Cup, that's only going to enhance his reputation and maybe bring other clubs to the table."
Which clubs are interested in Ndiaye?
Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Tottenham are setting their sights on signing Ndiaye this summer.
Roberto De Zerbi wants to bolster his attacking options with more dynamic players to complement their pace in the final third, and therefore eyeing up a raid on David Moyes' squad.
Recent reports have also claimed that Man United are weighing up a bid for Ndiaye in the coming months, while Man City have also been linked to his services.
