Everton won't entertain any offers for striker Thierno Barry without a replacement lined up this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Frenchman has been subject to interest from RB Leipzig in recent days, but the Toffees are not actively looking to sell him at the moment.

David Moyes is looking to add to his attack rather than weaken it, but sources have indicated that the club would still consider an offer that would allow them to recoup the £27million that they paid for the 23-year-old.

Leipzig have made enquiries regarding the availability of the youngster, but their interest has not progressed beyond its initial stages at the moment.

Barry netted eight Premier League goals during his debut season in English football, despite struggling for form at times.

The former Villarreal man was signed as a long-term option last summer, and the club are not ready to show him the door on Merseyside just yet.

Beto's uncertain future to impact Thierno Barry

Everton have earmarked the top of the pitch as a major priority to be strengthened this summer.

Both Barry and Beto have faced sustained questions regarding their consistency in front of goal, and Moyes and Co. are keen to freshen up the attack ahead of next term.

The recruitment team are well aware of the fact that Beto is about to enter the final year of his contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and that looks likely to impact their stance on Barry's future.

The Toffees do not want a total rebuild of their current striker options, and with Beto potentially leaving for free this time next year, they want to keep their faith in Barry if possible.

At least one new face will be added at the top of the pitch this summer, with no intention for Barry to be sold at the moment.

Leipzig could yet change that with a significant bid, but it would have to be an offer that really made a sale worthwhile for Everton.

Everton told Monaco’s updated stance on Folarin Balogun transfer

Everton chasing Folarin Balogun transfer

Football Insider recently revealed that Everton have a difficult task to sign Monaco striker Folarin Balogun this summer.

The 24-year-old netted 13 goals in Ligue 1 last season, and also scored twice in the USA's 4-1 win over Paraguay in their World Cup opener.

Everton are among a growing list of suitors for the former Arsenal academy man, but Monaco are determined to keep hold of him this summer.

The Toffees have emerged as big admirers of the youngster, but it is becoming clear that they will have to look elsewhere for their striker addition.
