Jack Grealish deserves a lot more respect than the injured Everton star is receiving right now due to new images circulating online.

The 30-year-old, who has been sidelined since January with a broken foot, was spotted totally asleep at a rooftop bar in Manchester, surrounded by cocktails and empty glasses on Saturday, 26 April.

Much like everyone over the weekend, Grealish was enjoying the sunny weather with friends, soaking in the much-needed warmth. Who can blame him? A lot of football fans, apparently.

Everton are eyeing a permanent deal for Grealish ahead of the summer transfer window, and these new images should have no impact on the Toffees' plans for the star winger.

Jack Grealish is just blowing off steam after brutal Everton injury

Before his injury, the Manchester City loanee had reignited his career under David Moyes, once again becoming one of the Premier League's trickiest customers, with two goals and six assists.

He always causes trouble down the left flank, drawing fouls for fun and creating enough chances for any striker to hit the back of the net, even Chuckle-Brother duo Beto and Thierno Barry.

His season-ending injury would have hit him like a truck, however. The winger is running out of time to star at an international tournament, and he's now been ruled out of the 2026 World Cup.

So what if he wants to blow off some steam and have one too many drinks at the weekend? Why does it matter if, when he needs to, he's taking his recovery seriously? Members of the public are far too involved.

Speaking on talkSPORT on Tuesday, 28 April, Ally McCoist labelled the images as "scandalous", but also admitted that the player deserved more privacy, rather than having his photo taken without his knowledge.

David Moyes knows exactly what he's getting with Man City loanee

Grealish's actions outside of football will hardly come as a surprise either. He has never made a drama about enjoying himself when he's able to, as proven by his celebrations when Man City won the league.

Everton are likely to step up their move for Grealish, with multiple other clubs eyeing a deal for the talented attacker this summer, but he has quickly become a fan favourite on Merseyside.

Despite being pictured in the tabloids far more than some clubs would want, he takes his football very seriously, which, I'm sure, translates to his recovery. He will want to return as soon as possible.

For those who are slamming him on social media, haven't you got anything else better to focus on? It would be understandable if he were in a dark place right now. Let him enjoy the sun.
