Tyler Dibling 'has no future under David Moyes' as Everton exit plan revealed

Tyler Dibling does not play a part in David Moyes' long-term thinking at Everton and will be allowed to leave the club in 2027.

The 20-year-old has yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, and was withdrawn after 64 minutes during the 4-0 win against Preston after struggling to impress.

Since joining the Toffees from Southampton in a deal worth £42million last summer, he has yet to register a goal or an assist, and has failed to impress the manager.

Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Dibling is well down the pecking order at Everton are plans are already being made to move him on.

Whether he leaves on loan or permanently remains to be seen, but he has shown little to prove he deserves a role in the squad and that does not look like changing.

Dibling is also believed to be keen on a move away in search of increased playing time, after it has been made clear he will not be part of Moyes' plans for the future.

Why is Tyler Dibling out of favour at Everton?

Former Everton scout Bryan King told Football Insider in July that Everton have come to terms with the fact they overpaid for Dibling amid concerns about his role in the squad.

There had been hopes that he would impress Moyes in pre-season and force himself into the manager's plans, but that has not been the case after the season begun.

Everton are now believed to be making plans for a future without Dibling, who no longer has a role to play and has fallen well down the pecking order at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

"I had serious doubts about Tyler Dibling before he made the move to Everton," Brown told Football Insider.

"He's a wide player, but he's not blessed with great pace which is already a concern, and he's not good enough on the ball to make up for it like somebody like Jack Grealish does.

"I don't think he's particularly well-suited to the Preimer League, he might just not be cut out for this level, and I think Moyesey has realised that.

"It seems like Dibling isn't part of the manager's plans for the future, he's not been involved much if at all this season, and he's well down the pecking order at the moment.

"So when the January transfer window arrives, Everton are going to be open to offers for Dibling, whether that's on loan or permanently."

What do Everton have planned for Dibling?

Everton had hoped for Dibling to play an increased role under Moyes, but are now of the belief that he does not have a future at the club after failing to impress.

Football Insider revealed last month that Everton considered cashing in on Dibling if they could sign a new winger first, with interest growing from overseas.

The Toffees completed the signings of Tyrique George, Brennan Johnson and Jack Grealish, forcing the fomer Southampton man further down the pecking order.

However, they did not have enough depth in the squad to consider letting more players leave, hence Dibling's involvement in the matchday squad for every game this season.
