Everyone is saying the same thing about Mohamed Salah from Liverpool v Stoke

It looked like real trouble for Stoke early on in the Premier League’s lunchtime clash at Anfield.

With just a few minutes gone, Mohamed Salah was put through on goal with just Jack Butland to beat, and he had all the time in the world.

He looked super-confident, as ever, and dinked the ball over the keeper… and wide of the post.

With the form he’s in at the moment, everyone in the stadium, including Butland, would have been expecting the net to ripple, and after the miss a stunned silence descended on Anfield.

It’s testament to the form the player is in that no one watching could believe that he had put the ball wide.

And they swarmed onto Twitter to let the world know.

Salah had more chances in the first half but couldn’t find the net and he got ever more desperate in the second half.

He’s still out in the lead for the Golden Boot, with 31 to Harry Kane’s 26, but the Tottenham striker has yet to play and with a home tie against Watford, will be looking to draw closer with just a few games of the season left.
