Ex-striker: No-one will want Everton starlet Small after AWOL update
Frank McAvennie has warned Everton youngster Thierry Small he could be blacklisted for his recent actions.
The former West Ham striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, condemned the youngster’s rebellious actions.
On Tuesday (July 13th), The Athletic claimed Small has not reported for the first week of pre-season training at Finch Farm.
The report claims Everton have prepared a bumper first professional contract for Small.
However, as a 16-year-old, he will have to wait until his birthday on 1st August to sign it.
The Athletic also stated Small has found himself a new agent as he looks to force a move and McAvennie claims this is all his doing.

“That’s got to be his agent,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He will be telling him what to do to get that move. But that gives you a reputation.
“You get called a bad lad, a troublemaker. No right-minded person will touch you after that.
“He needs to be very careful because it sounds like he’s been handed some terrible advice.
“He’s only 16, he has no idea what to do. He needs to be told that the move will come, the money will come.
“Don’t you dare be switching agents, you need to get his head down and work hard for that.
“It causes trouble for the club and he’s in no position to do that. He’s 16.
“He’s just starting out and something like this can blacklist you for your whole career.”
On 2nd April, The Daily Express reported Leeds United are interested in signing Small.
The Whites have already signed one full-back this summer with Junior Firpo’s arrival from Barcelona now confirmed.
