'Exceptional' - Exclusive: Danny Mills raves about Leeds player after display
Danny Mills has hailed Leeds United winger Jack Harrison for his “exceptional” display against Millwall in midweek.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Elland Road defender heaped praise on his former side for their impressive fitness levels, but singled out the 23-year-old in particular for his efforts.
United had to rely on a stunning second half comeback to overturn a two goal-deficit against the Lions on Tuesday night.
And despite the dramatic scenes, Mills was blown away by Harrison in particular.
“Their [Leeds’] fitness level looked maybe 25% more,” he told Football Insider.
“I thought Jack Harrison was exceptional down that left-hand side.

“Some of the passing and movement, the slick one touch passing, the constant pressure that they put Millwall under was just relentless.
“Winning the ball back high up the pitch, creating chances, feeding balls across the box – Bamford could have had a couple more.”
Harrison is currently in the second year of a loan spell at Elland Road from parent club Manchester City, and has established himself as a key figure in Marcelo Bielsa’s starting XI, making 29 appearances in the Championship so far this season while registering five goals and six assists.
His display against Millwall on Tuesday was one of his more eye-catching performances of the campaign, with the wide man managing four key passes, four successful dribbles, four tackles, and a pass completion rate in excess of 85%.
