Queens Park Rangers are poised to sign former Chelsea defender Todd Kane on a free transfer with the player due for a medical today (Saturday, 27 July), Football Insider understands.
Kane, who is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Chelsea earlier this summer, has held talks with QPR, Middlesbrough and Wigan over a potential move this summer.
A well-placed source at Loftus Road has told Football Insider that Kane has opted to move to QPR having been impressed by Rs boss Mark Warburton and will undertake the necessary medical tests to complete his move.
