Exclusive: Bent keen for West Ham to sell attacker for 'Good money' in Jan - 'I'm all for it'
Darren Bent is keen for West Ham to sell attacker Andriy Yarmolenko in January if they can get good money for him.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Laura O’Leary, the ex-Tottenham striker suggested Yarmolenko wasn’t what the Hammers needed as he’s too inconsistent.
Football Insider recently revealed that the Hammers are willing to listen to offers for the Ukranian winger in January and would be willing to take a hit on the £18million they signed him for.
Bent explained that given the Hammers are in a relegation battle then they need players who deliver the goods every week.
When asked if he is surprised that West Ham could cash in on Yarmolenko in January, Bent told Football Insider: “He has got a lot of ability, but he is too inconsistent.
“There’s too much inconsistency with him, it’s either 9/10 or a 3/10 and considering where West Ham are at the minute, they need a bunch of players who are 6/10,8/10 every single week.

“For me, it makes sense, if they can get good money for him, then I’m all for it.”
The 30-year-old has featured 15 times for the club this season, scoring three goals and registering one assist.
However, Yarmolenko hasn’t managed to feature in the club’s last two league games due to injury.
The experienced winger only arrived at the London Stadium in July 2018 after joining the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund and is contracted to stay put until 2022.
