It is “absolutely brilliant” for the confidence of the Everton squad to have Richarlison back available against Fulham, according to Darren Bent.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former Tottenham and England striker admitted the Toffees had “fallen off a cliff” in recent games without their attacking talisman.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the Brazil international would be available for selection, having missed the Toffees’ previous three games through suspension.

Everton, who are still yet to win any game the 23-year-old has not started since his arrival at Goodison Park, lost to Southampton, Newcastle and Manchester United during his absence.
With the Brazil star having come through the international break without any problems, Bent has suggested his return will give the Toffees a much-needed shot in the arm against the Cottagers.
Bent told Football Insider: “Richarlison, obviously we’re fans of his and obviously he’s been missing and they’ve kind of fallen off a cliff a little bit, it’s not been good for them.
“The fact that he’s back now will give him and his team massive, massive confidence and it’s absolutely brilliant to be fair.
“Fair play to him getting himself back fit, they’re gonna need him. They’re still not that far away to get themselves back up there, but it’s obviously not been good for them recently.”
Richarlison has scored once and chipped in with a further two assists in his five appearances in the Premier League this season.
He netted a further three in the Toffees’ League Cup games against Fleetwood Town and West Ham.
In other Everton news, the Toffees have set their sights on an “exceptional signing” in January.
