Cardiff City have made enquiries for about signing Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham on loan, Football Insider understands.
The 26-year-old is in high demand this month with the likes of Championship sides Sheffield Wednesday, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest chasing his capture after falling out of favour at Selhurst Park.
A source at Cardiff has told Football Insider that the Welsh outfit have made an approach to the Premier League side over taking him on a temporary deal before the transfer window slams shut this week.
