Exclusive: Derby County plot move to sign Sheffield Wednesday 26-yr-old wanted by Boro

Derby County are plotting a move to sign Sheffield Wednesday defender Morgan Fox this summer, Football Insider can reveal.

The left-back, 26, is coming to the end of his contract at Hillsborough and is yet to agree a new deal.

A Derby source has told Football Insider that they are in the market for a new left-back and have set their sights on Fox.

As revealed by this site in April, Middlesbrough are also showing an interest in the Welshman and have made him one of their top targets in the transfer window.

Wednesday boss Garry Monk explained last week that the club are in talks with Fox over a new deal and he is very keen to keep him.
