Exclusive: Ex-Spur in awe of Tottenham player he's told is first to do everything at Hotspur Way
Michael Brown has been left raving over Tottenham ace Heung-min Son after what he has seen and heard of the winger’s conduct at their Hotspur Way headquarter.
The former Spurs midfielder, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, has lauded the 27-year-old for his behaviour and attitude both on and off the pitch.
Speaking to the official Tottenham website after his return from military duty, the South Korean ace revealed he was “nearly” at maximum fitness after recovering from a broken arm.
"It was a special experience. The three weeks were tough, but it was a good experience. I enjoyed it.”

He called the chance to serve his country a “special experience” and thanked the fans for their support during his time away.
Brown admits he has been thoroughly impressed by what he has seen and heard from the Spurs attacker, insisting he is a valuable member of the squad both behind the scenes and on the field.
Brown told Football Insider: “It’s one of those experiences where he’s gone and learned, learned about himself, learned about different things and the training, he’ll have still been in training and kept himself extremely sharp.

“You can see he just loves football. He’ll have gone over and done it, given everything to what he had to do and he’s back. I’m just really impressed by the person of him, he wants to do everything right.
“All the people say good things about him, how he’s the first to offer, to do anything, great around the place – that’s great to hear.
“As a player, how he takes it both ways, he’s unstoppable, great engine, great awareness and he’s great for Spurs.”
Son has played 32 times and scored 16 goals for Spurs this season, though he has not featured since February.
He has a total of 220 appearances under his belt for the Lilywhites, 151 of which have come in the Premier League.
