West Ham have been unsuccessful in their attempt to prise Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan, sources have told Football Insider.

The England international, 26, has rejected an approach from the Hammers as he believes the Italian giants are a "bigger club".

The Premier League side are in the market for a right-sided centre-back to play alongside new signing Max Kilman next season.

The Hammers made contact over a deal for the 26-year-old, but he doesn’t want to join them in this window.
