Exclusive: Ndombele tipped for shock Tottenham move after new Sky reveal
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho will be open to a sensational swap deal with Barcelona involving Tanguy Ndombele, according to Darren Bent.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the ex-Spurs striker claimed the club’s record signing is a huge talent but “something just doesn’t add up” about his failure to deliver.
Barcelona want to sign Tanguy Ndombele and have offered players to Tottenham in the hope of striking a part-exchange deal.

Ndombele became Tottenham’s record signing when he joined from Lyon last summer for an initial £54m rising to a potential £63m.
He has struggled to live up to his transfer fee and has been savaged by Mourinho in the media for his lack of work ethic in matches.
“With Ndombele, we know full well that he’s got a lot of ability on the ball, he’s powerful, but for whatever reason he can’t play back-to-back games or he can’t play 90 minutes – something just doesn’t add up,” Bent told Football Insider.

“You wouldn’t say you’re losing one of you most influential players right now. Talent-wise, you might be but we don’t see it often enough.
“If that was the case that Barcelona wanted him in a swap deal, I’m looking at that as Mourinho and thinking: ‘This might suit us down to the ground.'”
Spurs have shut their recruitment operation down until the end of May due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The club may regard Ndombele as an asset they can use to strengthen their squad in this summer’s transfer market.
