Exclusive: Norwich City in advanced talks to sign goal-a-game international

Norwich City are in advanced talks to sign goal-a-game Luxembourg international Daniel Sinani, Football Insider understands.

The Premier League strugglers are keen to sign the F91 Dudelange either this month or on a pre-contract deal for next season.

A Norwich source told Football Insider that discussions over Sinani, 22, heading to Carrow Road imminently are progressing well but the exact terms are yet to be finalised.

The versatile forward, who is predominantly a left-winger, is out of contract in the summer and F91 Dudelange are set to lose him either in the next week or at the end of the campaign.

Norwich are now hoping to reach a compromise but if no deal can be agreed they will sign the winger on a pre-contract in preparation for next season.

Sinani has caught the eye of a number of clubs across Europe this season after impressing in their domestic competition as well as the Europa League this term.

He is the top scorer in the Luxembourg league this season with 11 goals in 12 matches and he has netted nine goals in the Europa League as well.

Serbian-born Sinani represents Luxembourg at international level and he has won 14 caps for them, scoring three goals.

Norwich have already signed Lukas Rupp and Ondrej Duda during this month’s transfer window and they are now closing in on Daniel Farke’s third new arrival.

The Canaries are struggling for goals in the Premier League this season, with just 24 goals from their 24 matches to date.
