Nottingham Forest and Derby County have both submitted loan offers for Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson, Football Insider understands.

Jurgen Klopp has given the green light for Wilson to go on loan to a Championship club after Burnley manager Sean Dyche pulled out of talks over a permanent deal earlier this month.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Forest and Derby have both tabled bids to sign the 23-year-old ahead of Friday's domestic transfer deadline as Liverpool look to secure a "multi-million" loan fee.

It is understood the Championship pair face competition from second-tier rivals Cardiff City and Swansea City to snap up the Wales international.

Wilson, a graduate of the Liverpool academy, has already spent four loan spells away from Anfield, including a season-long stint with current suitors Derby.

He netted 18 goals in 50 appearances for the Rams before he made the step up to the Premier League with Bournemouth last season.

He continued to show his quality in front of goal on the south coast with seven goals in 35 games but was unable to stop the Cherries from being relegated.

With the international transfer window closed, a move back to the Championship looks the most likely destination for the 17-cap international.
