Paul Robinson claimed that Everton attacker Moise Kean will be looking forward to seeing the back of manager Marco Silva.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Laura O’Leary, the former England and Tottenham goalkeeper revealed that he believes Kean will be happy to see Silva exit Goodison Park as he is still not getting a chance.
The 19-year-old forward joined the Toffees from Juventus in the summer but hasn’t featured in any of his side’s last four league matches.
Robinson revealed that he wondered if Silva and Kean could put their differences aside for the sake of the team as he pointed out the forward was exactly the type of player his side was screaming out for.
“And still Kean isn’t getting a chance which obviously his disciplinary record off the pitch has been a problem,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“But he’s still not getting a look in as he’s back on the bench but not coming on.
“They’re a side who need goals and pace and you’ve got goals and pace right there, so whether the differences between the two of them are too much to put aside for the good of the side, remains to be seen.
“But I think Moise Kean, as well as lots of Everton fans, will be looking forward to seeing the back of Marco Silva.”
Silva dropped Kean from his matchday squad for the recent 2-1 win over Southampton due to the teenager breaching club rules by being late for a meeting.
The Toffees attacker has only featured a total of 11 times for the club this season and is yet to register his first goal for them.
Silva is under pressure following his side losing 2-0 to Norwich City on Saturday with fans loudly singing “You’re getting sacked in the morning” during the club’s latest defeat.
