Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to break the news of his Real Madrid move soon, sources have told Football Insider.

Alexander-Arnold is out of contract at Anfield in June and publicly kept his cards close to his chest after scoring the winner against Leicester on Sunday (20 April).

The right-back, 26, celebrated wildly after scoring in the 76th minute - leading some Liverpool fans to believe he could pull a U-turn on his anticipated move to Real Madrid.

Post-match, Alexander-Arnold said: "I have said all season that I am not going to speak on my situation. I am not going to go into the details."
