Exclusive: West Brom set sights on signing Bristol City ace, £3m will seal deal
West Brom have set their sights on signing Bristol City defender Taylor Moore, Football Insider understands.
The Championship promotion hopefuls have identified the centre-back, 22, as a leading target going into the summer window.
A West Brom source has told Football Insider that the club’s scouts have been impressed by Moore’s performances this season, firstly at City and then on loan at Blackpool since January.
It is expected that he will cost around £3million in the upcoming transfer window amid doubts over his Ashton Gate future.
He is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract with Lee Johnson’s promotion-chasing side.
The Baggies face competition for Moore’s signature from clubs in the Championship as well as one in the Premier League.

Moore has gained experience in League Two, League One and the Championship, as well as in Ligue 1 following a loan spell at French club Lens.
He has also played for England at all levels and won the Under-20 World Cup.
Moore began this season at parent club City and made 16 Championship starts among 24 appearances in all competitions in the first half of the campaign.
However, the January loan signing of Filip Benkovic from Leicester City was set to push Moore down the pecking order and he accepted an offer to drop a division and join League One promotion chasers Blackpool.
At the Seasiders, Moore made an instant impact, starting eight consecutive league matches and earning rave reviews before the season was suspended in mid-March.
