Expert: Tottenham stars 'aren't happy' with Antonio Conte's recent quotes
Antonio Conte’s refusal to commit to Tottenham “must be annoying” some senior stars.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Italian’s future.
While Conte, 52, shot down fresh links to PSG on Friday (29 April), labelling them “fake news” (football.london), he again refused to commit his future to Spurs.
This comes with Mauricio Pochettino’s future still in doubt despite winning the league with the French giants.
Conte is under contract until the end of next season.
Kenny insists the uncertainty around the former Chelsea boss’ future isn’t doing his squad any favours.

“It’s not ideal when the manager won’t say if he will be there next season,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He is under contract so unless he resigns or gets sacked, he’s staying, simple.
“I just wonder about the squad. What must they be thinking? I imagine some of them aren’t happy.
“It must be annoying, luckily I never went through that as a player. There needs to be some clarity on this.
“I think Conte is probably waiting to see if he gets backed. But that risks him leaving halfway through the summer.
“It might be a nervous few weeks for those Spurs fans. You just hope he stays for at least another season because Tottenham have come on leaps and bounds under him.”
Tottenham are next in action against Liverpool on Saturday (7 May).
They remain in the top-four hunt after their win over Leicester (1 May).
