Tottenham rising stars Tashan Oakley-Boothe and Samuel Shashoua have agreed the terms of new contracts with the club – and fans have expressed their delight on Twitter.
The Premier League giants revealed on their official Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon that central midfielder Oakley-Boothe, 18, and wide forward Shashoua, 18, have penned new deals.
They will keep Oakley-Boothe until the summer of 2021 and Shashoua until June 2020.

Tottenham fans are delighted that the club have tied down the academy products, whose previous agreements were close to expiring.
However, some supporters have pointed out on social media that they are still awaiting an update on the future of senior defender Toby Alderweireld.

Mauricio Pochettino has given Oakley-Boothe a chance to stake a claim for a first-team spot this season even though he only turned 18 a fortnight ago.
The England Under-18 international made his senior debut as a last-minute substitute in Spurs’ League Cup win against Barnsley in September and was an unused substitute in a Champions League win at Apoel Nicosia a week later as well as the recent FA Cup third-round trip to Newport.
Shashoua is yet to make a senior appearance for the club but has attracted rave reviews for his performances for the club’s Under-23s.
Capped at England Under-18s level, Shashoua has scored 17 times in 44 appearances for the Under-18s and Under-23s.
In other Tottenham news, it can be revealed the club are working on deals to sign up FIVE players, with three agreements virtually nailed on.
