Barnsley right-back Andy Yiadom won't be making a summer reunion with his former manager Paul Heckingbottom at Leeds, and fans are delighted.

The news was reported by Phil Hay from the Yorkshire Evening Post, who claimed that despite serious interest, Leeds were not totally convinced, despite the player being available for free.

Phil Hay reported the news on his personal Twitter page on Thursday morning.

Yiadom was then announced by Reading on Thursday evening.

It means that despite being linked with a number of players, Leeds are yet to take the plunge and it's made a couple of fans wonder whether it means Heckingbottom is on his way out.

Another fan said that Heckingbottom was a "loser" who couldn't even convince his old players to join, although that suggests he hasn't really read or understood the story.

Either way, Yiadom will be playing his football for Reading next season – and Leeds fans aren't bothered in the slightest.
