Arsenal have earned over £65million from their Champions League campaign this season, Football Insider can reveal.

Their run in Europe came to an end on Wednesday evening (17 April) following their 3-2 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals.

The Gunners narrowly missed out on the chance to reach their first Champions League semi-final since 2009.

However, the Champions League has still been a huge financial success for the North London outfit with over £65million earned in prize money and broadcast payments.

According to official Uefa documents, Arsenal earned £13million for qualifying for the tournament and an additional £11million for their group stage results.

They banked £8million for topping their group and reaching the round of 16, and a further £9million for beating Porto and reaching the quarter-finals.

On top of the prize money, Arsenal also earned money for their Uefa coefficient standing and a percentage of the UK TV market pool.

Each position in the coefficient table is worth £1million and the Gunners are ranked 22nd in the table.

They also pocketed 30 percent of the UK market pool payments after finishing second in the Premier League last season.

Overall, Football Insider calculates that Arsenal have earned a minimum of £65million for their Champions League campaign.

It will provide a significant boost to the club’s PSR calculations for the 2023-24 season ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
