Moussa Dembele has constantly been linked with a move away from Celtic after a stunning debut season in Scotland.

The 20-year-old has smashed 32 goals in less than 50 appearances this campaign but a report in the Sun in March said that a number of top teams are keeping tabs on him.

It is understood that Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have all watched Dembele play for the Hoops and Brendan Rodgers should start making plans for life without him next season.

One man that the Hoops boss should take a look at is Leicester’s wantaway attack Ahmed Musa.

The Mirror has claimed that the 24-year-old is looking for a move away from the King Power Stadium after struggling to make an impact on the Premier League champions’ first-team.

Musa arrived in the summer for a fee of £17million and should become Rodgers’ No 1 target if Dembele secures a big-money move away from Celtic Park.

There’s no doubt that a fee would be big, but Celtic should be able to afford it – a 32-goal striker should raise more than the fee Leicester are likely to demand for Musa.

The 60-time Nigeria international has bags of experience and can move to Scotland and emulate Scott Sinclair’s rise to top form after a miserable few years in the Premier League.

Musa has mainly been used on the left wing at Leicester but that has mainly been down to the use of Jamie Vardy and Islam Slimani up top.

Musa has scored four goals in 31 appearances in all competitions but the vast majority of his game time has come off the bench having started just seven league games.

His goal scoring in Russia should be something to consider to – before his switch to Leicester he scored 54 goals in 168 appearances for CSKA Moscow, a team that you could argue is at a similar level to Celtic.

Leigh Griffiths is the only other top quality striker at Parkhead at the moment and it would seem nonsensical to pass up on the speed-demon that is Musa.
