Tottenham have terminated the contract of teenage defender Moroyin Omolabi, according to the Football Association.

New documents registered with the governing body show that the centre-back, 18, had his deal with the club cancelled by mutual consent on 27 February.

There has been no announcement from Tottenham about the exit of Haidara, but paperwork on the official FA website shows that an agreement was reached last month for the Nigerian to end his association with the north London outfit.

Omolabi signed a two-year scholarship with Tottenham in the summer of 2016 and has been a regular for the club's Under-18s side this season.

He has previously been praised by Spurs academy director John McDermott for his performances, but he has played his last game for the youth teams.

The last of Omolabi's 22 appearances for the Under-18s was on 10 February when he played 70 minutes of Tottenham's 6-2 drubbing by Arsenal.
