Hector Bellerin has signed a six-year deal worth in excess of £31.2million, making him one of Arsenal's top earners, according to a report.

The news will come as a huge boost to Arsenal as the right-back has become an integral part of the team, playing 90 minutes in all 11 of Arsenal's Premier League games so far this season.

According to The Mirror, the Gunners were having to fend off interest from Bellerin's former club Barcelona as well as Premier League rivals Manchester City.

However, it claims that Bellerin was so keen to sign, he accepted the club's new offer within four days.

The report says the offer is worth in excess of £100,000 a week, which would net him more than £31.2million with bonuses and add-ons on top.

Arsene Wenger is keen to tie his stars to long-term deals and The Mirror also reports that talks have begun with both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Both players have less than two years remaining on their contracts, with Wenger's own deal set to run out at the end of the season.
