Alan Hutton fears Roberto Firmino will "struggle" for game time at Liverpool next season.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said £20million would be a "good price" for the forward.

According to Italian outlet TuttoJuve (24 July), Juventus are preparing another bid for the 30-year-old after their initial offer of £20m was rejected.

Firmino is said to have expressed a desire to stay at the Merseyside club.

The Brazil international has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Anfield.

Hutton claimed it could be time for Firmino to move on.

"I think it's going to be difficult for him this season," he told Football Insider.

"I think he's a great squad player. To turn to your bench if you have injuries or whatever you know what he's capable of, he's proved it over the years to everybody.

"I think Liverpool are just going in a different direction at this moment in time with the players that they've brought in. I think he's going to struggle for game time.

"£20m I think is a good price. They've squeezed a lot out of him over the years. I think £20m is a fair price if they got that for him. He'll probably want to move on and play football because I do think he's going to struggle for game time this year."

Firmino made 35 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions last season.

He scored 11 goals and provided five assists.
