Real Madrid striker and long-term Arsenal target Alvaro Morata is pushing for a Premier League move, according to a report.

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial claim the striker is keen to leave because he is behind famed front three Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.

It is said that there is interest in Morata from Premier League big hitters Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, the trio have not come close to offering the £59.3million price tag slapped on the Spain international by Real.

The 23-year-old has been training with Los Blancos after returning to them following his two-year spell at Italian champions Juventus and has been featuring for Zinedine Zidane's side in pre-season.

However, the Spanish forward is pushing for his unclear situation at the club to be resolved quickly, with one eye on a move to the Premier League.

The number nine has a reputation for delivering in huge games, scoring in the Champions League final and Coppa Italia final for Juventus as well as netting three times for Spain at Euro 2016.

Arsene Wenger has already stressed that he is looking for another option up-front and it has been no secret that Alvaro Morata has been on his shortlist despite Real previously suggesting he is not for sale.

With Danny Welbeck out and Theo Walcott recently proclaiming he wants to be known as a winger again, the only senior option up front for Wenger is Olivier Giroud, who is yet to return to the club after his Euro 2016 duties.

Chelsea have also expressed interest in Morata over the summer but they are also in hot pursuit of Romelu Lukaku and, following the arrival of Michy Batshuayi, it is doubtful they will bring in a third senior striker unless Diego Costa leaves.
