Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to annihilate Henri Saivet for his performance in the FA Cup Fourth Round loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Saivet, 27, has spent most of the season on the fringes of Rafa Benitez's squad but was picked to start on Sunday when the Magpies lost 3-0 to the Premier League champions courtesy of two goals by Michy Batshuayi and a Marcos Alonso free-kick. Senegal international Saivet was thoroughly torn apart by the Toon Army for his outing against Antonio Conte's men. One angry supporter dubbed the former Bordeaux midfielder as being "absolute garbage". Here is a selection of their tweets:

Saivet has barely kicked a ball for Newcastle this season with just four appearances in all competitions. The fringe player's solo outing in the Premier League saw him score a goal against West Ham in a 3-2 win for the Magpies at the London Stadium, but that really is as good as it has got for the 27-year-old. He was signed by Newcastle from Bordeaux for £5million in January 2016. But in two years, he has played just eight times having been sent out on loan to Saint-Etienne and sitting in the Magpies' reserves side. Next up for Benitez's side is a clash against Burnley at St James' Park on Wednesday night - which is also transfer deadline day. In other Newcastle United news,
