Bournemouth could demand a fee of between £40-50million for in-form attacker Antoine Semenyo amid interest from Newcastle United, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (14 October) that the Cherries are susceptible to losing 24-year-old star man Semenyo.

That is despite the 24-year-old only signing a fresh five-year Bournemouth contract in July.

Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham are all watching the forward regularly as they plot a transfer swoop to bolster their attacking options.

Sources say there is not likely to be movement for the Ghana international in January - but interested clubs could move next summer if his good form continues.

It is believed a bid of between £40-50million will be good enough for Bournemouth, who already sold Dominic Solanke in the most recent summer window.

Bournemouth want £40-50m for Newcastle target Semenyo

Semenyo has started all seven of the Cherries’ Premier League fixtures so far this term, notching three goals and one assist.

He is now an established Premier League performer after joining Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023.

The 24-year-old has also made 21 appearances for Ghana in just over two years, scoring two goals at international level.

Semenyo, who had a loan spell at Sunderland in 2020, primarily plays as a right winger under Andoni Iraola but can also line up on the left and as a centre-forward.
