Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social media to urge the club to cash in on winger Anthony Elanga after his performance in their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday (November 23).

The 22-year-old had little impact on the game before being hooked off at half-time due to a collarbone injury, leaving the field having completed just six passes, created no chances, and completing zero successful dribbles.

Elanga had been linked with a move away throughout the summer transfer window but he remained at Forest after the club rejected a £50million deadline day bid from Newcastle.

Forest were powerless to resist a dominant Arsenal side at the Emirates, with Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey, and Ethan Nwaneri securing all three points for the home side.

They may have lost, but Nuno Espirito Santo's side remain in the European qualification spots, sitting in sixth with 19 points from their opening 12 games.

Nottingham Forest fans fed up with Anthony Elanga

The Sweden international is yet to score a goal this season after 13 appearances across all competitions for the club.

Frustrated by his output, some Nottingham Forest fans have taken to X, formally known as Twitter, to lament the decision not to sell the winger.
