Rangers could see their commercial revenue increase to around £30million next season after agreeing two new deals, sources have told Football Insider

The Scottish giants announced on 2 September Elior has become the club’s new food and beverage partner with immediate effect.

The France-based catering firm will take charge of matchday hospitality, non-matchday conferences and events, the Ibrox Restaurant, matchday retail and Edmiston House.

The deal with Elior, which previously held the catering contract at Ibrox before being replaced in 2022, is understood to be worth a club-record £2million a year.

The Glasgow side also confirmed on 18 September they have agreed an extension with the Kindred Group for the Unibet brand to continue as the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor beyond this season.

The agreement will also see previous shirt sponsor 32Red remain as the club’s training and warm-up kit sponsor.

The existing deal with Kindred is believed to be worth around £1.5million a year, but that is set to rise significantly once the new terms come into effect next season.

Rangers could bank up to £3million a year from the new shirt sponsor agreement depending on how well they perform on the pitch.

Sources have told Football Insider the deals with Elior and Kindred could see Philippe Clement’s side bank an extra £2.5million in commercial revenue for 2025-26.

Rangers to land commercial revenue boost next season

Rangers’ commercial revenue has increased substantially in recent years after hitting £28million in both of the past two accounting periods, with similar figures anticipated again once the numbers for 2023-24 are published.

Their commercial upturn saw the club’s overall revenue reach £83.75million in their latest accounts for 2022-23.

Although that was down on the recording-breaking £86.85million for 2021-22, that figure was massively inflated by their run to the Europa League final.

It’s so far unclear how Rangers’ commercial revenue will be affected this season after being forced to play their opening few home games at Hampden Park due to delays holding up the work on the Copland Road Stand at Ibrox.

But even if that leads to a drop in commercial revenue for 2023-24, sources have told Football Insider the new deals with Elior and Kindred are likely to ensure the figure reaches around £30million next season.
