Rangers are on course to land a stunning £18million-plus windfall from their Europa League exploits this season.
That's how much the Glasgow giants expect to rake in if they secure a place in the knockout stages of Europe's secondary competition for a second consecutive campaign.
Rangers are well placed to do so after winning two and drawing one of their opening three group stage matches to place them top of Group D at the halfway stage.
Rangers have yet to announce their financial results for the year ending June 2020, which took in their Europa League run last season barring the second leg of their postponed last-16 clash against Bayer Leverkusen.
But it is expected that the club will confirm the run earned them more than £20m.
Ibrox sources have told Football Insider that club chiefs would expect a similar windfall if Steven Gerrard's side can maintain their impressive start to the group stages by reaching the round of 32 in the new year.
The massive windfall would come from Uefa handouts, prize money for their performances, the Scottish clubs' share of the TV pool, their increased Uefa co-efficient ranking as well as commercial and merchandise income.
The absence of matchday fans puts a major dent in revenues but Uefa's Europa League distribution data show multi-million earnings already accrued from Rangers' group stage allocation and for progressing through the Europa League qualification rounds over the summer.
Rangers' most recent set of financial results revealed a turnover of £53.2m for 2018-19.
The club made losses of over £11m in that period as they increased their turnover by £20.6m.
