West Ham have agreed to pay a stunning £5million loan fee to Besiktas for Gokhan Tore, Football Insider sources understand.

The Hammers clinched the loan signing of Tore earlier this week with an option to buy him in a permanent deal next summer.

The precise figures involved in the deal were not disclosed by either club but Jack Sullivan, the son of West Ham chairman David Sullivan, dropped a hint on Twitter when he claimed

a "very big" loan fee was agreed with Besiktas.

A well-placed West Ham source has told

Football Insider

that the loan fee is £5million and there is also an £11million loan-to-buy option at the end of the season.

Football Insider reported last Sunday that Tore had completed a medical with the east London outfit ahead of his summer move to the club.

The Turkey international was a long-term target for West ham, with manager Slaven Bilic having worked with him when they were together at Besiktas.

Tore had a steady season in 2015-16, scoring six goals and providing nine assists in 35 appearances.

The former Rubin Kazan star is one of six summer signings made by West Ham along with Sofiane Feghouli, Toni Martinez, Havard Nordtveit, Domingos Quina and Ashley Fletcher.

In other West Ham transfer news, the Hammers are weighing up a bid for Norwich defender Robbie Brady.
