West Ham are willing to sell Manuel Lanzini on the cheap in January, sources have told Football Insider.

The Irons are ready to let the playmaker, 29, go in the winter window as they look to raise cash following a busy summer of transfer activity.

It is believed an offer of around £10million could be accepted by West Ham for a player they once valued at five times that sum.

Lanzini was told he was free to find a new club, either on loan or on a permanent deal, ahead of the 1 September deadline.

But the Argentina international could not agree a deal in time and has stayed at the club to remain on the fringes of the team.

He has been told his situation remains the same and he will be free to go once again in the January window.

Manager David Moyes does not regard Lanzini as a key man anymore, and he is not part of his long-term planning.

Lanzini's minutes have been mostly limited to the Europa Conference League, where he has started all seven fixtures to West Ham ensure safe passage to the knockout phase.

He has registered two goals across 11 games in all competitions, including a penalty winner against Silkeborg on Thursday (27 October).

The midfielder was a regular in West Ham’s Premier League side last season, making 30 appearances, but has been phased out by Moyes as the Scot revamped his squad during the off-season.

Lanzini has racked up 31 goals and 27 assists across 214 appearances for the Irons since joining in 2016.

West Ham sit 10th in the Premier League after 12 games despite a poor start to the campaign.

They face a trip to Old Trafford to face Man United on Sunday (30 October).
