West Ham sensation Reece Oxford is set to leave the club after rejecting a new contract, according to a report.

The 17-year-old has been offered a long-term deal by Hammers chiefs but he has turned it down amid fears over his playing time.

Sky Sports News claimed on Tuesday night that West Ham have set a valuation of around £10million on their most sought-after youngster and will allow him to leave this summer for bids in excess of that sum.

Oxford, who can play in either central defence or midfield, has been eyed by a number of Premier League heavyweights this season.

The teenager has two years remaining on his contract and West Ham would prefer to sell him for a sizeable fee this summer rather than risk him running down his deal and leaving for a bargain price.

Oxford began the season with a after man of the match display in West Ham's opening day win at Arsenal but he has not been a regular, making just five appearances in 2016, only one of which he started.

Meanwhile, West Ham have tabled a stunning £25million bid for Bournemouth pair Callum Wilson and Matt Richie.

The London club made a formal move for striker Wilson and winger Richie as they step up plans to strengthen their squad this summer.

Sky Sports News claimed on Monday night that Bournemouth have no interest in offloading the pair and they are not for sale.

It is unclear how West Ham individually value Wilson, 24, and Richie, 26, but the size of the double bid is an early demonstration of the club's ambition this summer.
