Former Leeds chairman Massimo Cellino is plotting a double swoop this summer from Elland Road, according to a report.

The Yorkshire Evening Post claim that Cellino's new club Brescia want to sign left-back Tyler Denton on loan, with a deal for striker Marcus Antonsson close.

Antonsson has no future at Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa and the Brescia deal should go through with a medical set to be scheduled.

However, Cellino wants Denton as well, after he failed to make an impact on the Leeds first-team.

Football Insider verdict:

Leeds fans will be happy to see Antonsson go, along with other members of the Leeds squad. Denton is an odd one though. Laurens De Bock was a flop at left-back and it led to Tom Pearce stepping up from the Under-23s. He signed a new deal with Leeds but his future is perhaps not completely clear as Premier League sides Bournemouth and Everton were reported to be interested in him. Nothing has been progressed on that though and it looks like he might well stay to stake his claim for the first-team spot. However, De Bock should be moved on this summer and if he is, Leeds will need cover. If they let Denton go then it suggests that Bielsa is targeting another left-back, either as his number one, or as cover for Pearce. If Leeds aren't planning on bringing in anyone else, then Denton should stay where he is.
