Leeds supporters on Twitter reiterated that manager Garry Monk needs time after he picked up his third victory as boss against Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.

After a quiet first-half Leeds took the lead through Chris Wood after the break via the penalty spot when Pontus Jansson was wrestled to the ground by Matt Connolly.

Monk’s side doubled their lead less than ten minutes from time to secure a 2-0 victory, when Pablo Hernandez curled his shot past Cardiff keeper Ben Amos.

Supporters backed their manager to continue the work he is doing, despite the 37-year-old being under pressure from controversial owner Massimo Cellino.

A section of Leeds fans pointed out that Monk played a formation he knows and then coincidently picked up two consecutive wins.
