Gary Lineker delivers Twitter verdict on Liverpool ace after another dubious display
By Amir Mir
Gary Lineker has stated on Twitter that Liverpool ace Loris Karius should start thinking about making the odd save as it might strengthen his case against critics.
Jurgen Klopp’s side drew 2-2 with West Ham on Sunday afternoon at Anfield to remain in third place, six points behind leaders Chelsea.
Adam Lallana had put the visitors ahead, before Dimitri Payet levelled the scoring with a free-kick, which could have been saved by goalkeeper Karius.
Michail Antonio put the Hammers back in the lead before the break, but striker Divock Origi levelled the scores in the 48th minute after Darren Randolph’s costly mistake in goal.
Here is Lineker providing his verdict on Karius on his personal Twitter account.

German Karius was a summer signing from FC Mainz and he has gone on to make 11 Premier League and EFL Cup appearances this season.
The 23-year-old was at fault when the Reds were beaten 4-3 at Bournemouth last Sunday. He failed to keep hold of a shot, which was bundled in by Nathan Ake, who scored the winner in stoppage time.
This drew criticism from Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville with Karius stating that he is not bothered by the former Manchester United players opinion.
Klopp has picked Karius ahead of Simon Mignolet this term, but the Belgian was between the sticks during the early part of the campaign when Karius was sidelined with a hand injury.
The Merseyside club will now travel to the north east to take on newly-promoted Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Wednesday night.
In other Liverpool news, Jamie Carragher has stated that this Reds summer signing has made a huge difference to the side.
