Georginio Wijnaldum posts passionate Twitter message after Liverpool win v Everton

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum revealed his delight on Twitter after his side beat Merseyside rivals Everton on Saturday.

The Reds earned a 3-1 victory over the Toffees and strengthened their position in the top four places.

Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi were on the scoresheet for the hosts, while Matthew Pennington’s goal turned out to be a consolation.

Wijnaldum has delivered a passionate message on his personal Twitter account after the win over Everton.

Liverpool have now recorded the double over their rivals after winning the first meeting 1-0 at Goodison Park.

Jurgen Klopp’s side moved up to third with the three points and dealt a massive blow to Everton in their own pursuit of the Champions League places.

Wijnaldum has become an important player for the Reds this season and completed 90 minutes on Saturday.

The central midfielder was unable to get on the scoresheet against Everton, but has scored five goals in 34 games.

The Holland international has managed to settle down at Anfield after a slow start and is now a crucial part of the club’s side.
