Tottenham star Giovani Lo Celso wants to quit the club due to his lack of game time, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed that Lo Celso, 27, is "unhappy" being on the fringes of Ange Postecoglou's side and is pushing for an exit from Spurs.

Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Tottenham are keen to cash in on the midfielder as they pursue new targets for next season.

The midfielder has been hampered by injuries his season and has missed nine Premier League games with hamstring and muscle injuries.

However, when he has been fit, Lo Celso has made just six starts in all competitions despite being available for 22 games.

He joined Spurs permanently from Real Betis for a reported £55million in the summer of 2019 after a successful loan spell.

The former Paris Sanit-Germain star has not made a single start in 2024 and has played just 33 minutes since the new year, including a 22-minute outing in their last game against Luton Town on Saturday (30 March).

Spurs are already eyeing new targets for next season, with Football Insider revealing (29 March) that they have prioritised signing Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White and a new striker this summer.
