'Definitely going' - Celtic fans react to Chris Sutton tweet about Moussa Dembele
Celtic fans have been reacting on social media to former Hoops striker turned BT Sport pundit Chris Sutton’s latest column about Moussa Dembele.
Sutton used his Daily Record column to reinforce his belief that star striker Demeble shouldn’t be sold in the January transfer window, amidst speculation that the player could depart Glasgow then.
The French under-21 international had a sensational first season with the Hoops, scoring 32 goals. This season injuries have played a part but he still has nine goals so far.
When Sutton took to his personal Twitter account to gauge opinion, fans seemed to be split down the middle on the player’s future.
“Why letting Moussa go is a no no for now…Your thoughts?” was his question, which lead to all sorts of replies.

Moussa not done enough for me of late. Scoring for France under 21’s doesn’t warrant game time with Celtic.

He should go in the summer but make sure we get 40 mil +

We need to make sure LG doesn't get disillusioned with his lack of game time or he could look elsewhere. Moussa is definitely going and I don't think we will buy the young French kid for £8 million. LG is the main concern in this conundrum IMO

I’d sell him tomorrow…. much prefer @Leighgriff09 up front and in the team, offers much more

Domestically Celtic are strong enough without him, as for Europe, they’ll need a striker and better performances all round

Clearly he can't go to a Champions League team in January being cup tied but if it's inevitable there will be offers it might not be a bad thing for the club to negotiate that they retain his services to the end of the season, he will be needed especially for the Europa league

I would happily trade moussa for two quality centre backs right now for Europe

Most fans seem to be in agreement that Dembele will leave Glasgow for a big sum of money, but are unsure when this will happen
Dembele and his Celtic team-mates are next in action against Hearts at Tynecastle, as they look to maintain their five point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
The Hoops have a game in hand over nearest challengers Rangers and Aberdeen, and play each of these teams at Celtic Park before the January winter break.
