Graham Roberts: This Tottenham 25-year-old has been incredible this season
By Harvey Byrne
Tottenham great Graham Roberts has hailed current combative midfielder Victor Wanyama as “incredible” this season.
The 25-year-old made the move to north London from Southampton last summer for just £11million.
It was a move which saw him rejoin manager Mauricio Pochettino and it has become clear why the Argentine was so keen to re-link with the Kenya international.
The former Celtic star has cemented himself in the Tottenham line-up following his transfer, but he missed the midweek clash against Swansea through injury.
He is now set to be assessed before the weekend fixture and former defender Roberts has hailed his possible comeback on his personal Twitter account while also sharing that he has been very impressive this season.

Wanyama has played in 39 matches for Tottenham in all competitions this season and the midweek victory over Swansea is the only league match he has missed this campaign.
Many will be hoping he can make a swift return from his setback with the club looking to keep the pace with league leaders Chelsea, who are currently seven points ahead at the top.
Additionally, there is just eight matches of the season left and fans will be keen to feature again in a successful debut season for Tottenham.
